Andy is an MCS student in the Computer Science Department at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is currently conducting research on intrusion detection and threat hunting in the STS Lab. Andy is a graduate of the Illinois Computing Accelerator for Non-Specialists (iCAN) program Prior to participating in the iCAN program, he spent time as a graduate student in mathematics at the University of Colorado Boulder, where he studied homotopy theory and algebraic topology.
